Off-Grid Farmer: Lizzie Purchase (and a 2nd video…) Planning Permission for Off-Grid Living

I found this video quite refreshing! Take a look and see for yourself 🙂

Lizzie lives in one half of a Devon longcottage, OFF the grid. Her sister lives in the other half, ON the grid. Lizzie is living the old way, according to old values, her values.

Find out more about this in my book OFF THE GRID: INSIDE THE MOVEMENT FOR MORE SPACE, LESS GOVERNMENT, AND MORE INDEPENDENCE IN MODERN AMERICA.

Random Acts of Kindness Caught on Film

I was going to log off after having already posted my new recipe series when I found this in my reader & just watched it with a lump in my throat. It is a truly moving video worth every 5.29 sec! It gives you the feeling that the world is not changing that fast after all 🙂 (no pun intended) kindness is still the good old recipe for this world to be a pleasure to experience & worth to be lived.

Something went wrong in my reblog, there was no video so I reposted it again, sorry for the inconvenience 🙂
Here’s the link which I got…

HOW I MADE A SOLAR POP CAN FURNACE / HEATER

I found this in a post from http://theroadtoserendipity.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/mnemonics-brachychitons-and-macgyver/
This is surely not my department but it is so ingenious I HAD to post it… it fascinated me how a person can take pop cans and make a solar panel out of it!

Enjoy the creativity 🙂
