Music in raindrops…

While waiting in the car on a rainy day, words came accompanied by the rhythm of nature…

Pit pat, pit pat raindrops there you
sat
On the borders of my soul, composing music
as you roll.
Comforting bruises new & old, rocking me out
of my mould.
Turning nuisance into charm, when the curtains
are drawn,
Keeping sunshine at bay, eluding the realities
of night & day…

A gem found in the rain

I bequeath myself to the storms,
To the rain I love, falling gently
Or brutally unto the Oceans marking
Their way, digging tears into the
Grain of shores… bringing out the
Gems of yonder, tempting them out
Of their daily modicum of privacy
And fashioning as a jest, a grand
Exit by beaming scintillae betwixt
Feral clouds thereupon supplanting
Yestereve’s majestic sunset.

This painting was made in a totally different technique. The layer is much thicker and I worked with a iron spatula bringing it back and forth in different directions, with different colors, bringing out certain shades in the process and enhancing it the way I wished.

I hope you like it as much as I had fun with it!
P.s Sorry about the clarity and quality of the photo. Next time will be better, promise.
