Natural Recipe category restored!

I am relieved to have completed the photo restoration of the recipe category in less time than the others as it’s smaller compared…
I realize now that all this ordeal was in my favor as the blog is more pleasant to the eye in its update from more experience. I selected this time round more carefully the quality of the photos and thanks to the advice of so many kind bloggers I reduced the photo-pixels which rejuvenated this blog that was nearing to its end by being close to overloaded.
So, I am learning constantly and I’m now short of two smaller categories to finish (Writings & O.a writings) before being able to totally celebrate 🙂

Blog restoration update

This morning I woke up with a feeling of dread knowing I finally had to face the daunting task of restoring 400 posts with each one containing one to eleven photos!
I kept talking myself into taking it by category or even by post so as not to get discouraged & procrastinate as a result…
I finally grabbed the sliver of courage I had by some miracle, held fast on to it and started tackling the last few posts of the poetry category & decided to go on working (for how long it takes) until it’s completed.
Then I decided that if 99% of the photos have vanished I might as well start from scratch & bring down the pixels to all of them & just maybe I will have saved myself the trouble to have to create a new oawritingspoemspaintings2!There is a silver lining after all 🙂

So, I cleaned up my media once again (!) to start afresh. All in all I was busy six hours on the blog & decided (when my head felt squeezed in a vise) to stop after giving you an update.

I’ll try my best to go on liking but if I don’t manage due to the long hours of work on this blog, my sincere apologies to all my supportive & faithful followers 🙂
I consider this as the Resurrection of my blog and its rebirth will be thanks to your patience. Once again a big thank you to you all!

Did it again!! All the poetry category updated with photos! Fourteen hour marathon :)

Exhausted blogger!

This is how I look tonight! I wanted to finish the blog update in order to start the real thing, as painting, writing…
I put everything on hold and, believe it or not, it happened.
I never realized how many poems I had posted…
As I started to work, this morning, I thought it would be as simple as when I edited the writing category. Boy,
was I in for a surprise!
It’s a totally different system, with its own set of rules. The layout for poetry is so different that, I had
to get used to the dimensions, spaces… I thought I was going to lose it, but then, I started slowly to get the
hang of it and it didn’t appear to be torture anymore 🙂
In my young blogging days, I first wrote the poem in french then posted
its translation in a following one, but then I found it, confusing to the reader ( thinking it hadn’t been translated ) so I started
to put it, in the same post. Please forgive my previous lack of experience.
Let me know how this new category compares to the old version.

New update ( photos ) in ” Will it ever end? ” & ” Memories of a comfy corner… ” posts

Furiously blogging

Hi everyone! I was ( last night and today ) three hours busy, with looking up on Google for copyright free photos to put in my two posts ” Will it ever end ” in ” oa writings ” and ” Memories of a comfy corner…” in  “writings “.Last night as I tried to edit it, I was having one mishap after the other, one of them is that the photos just erased themselves twice! I decided then and there that tiredness was not the best adviser and left it all for the next day, with a clear head which I hoped would bring me more luck and efficiency 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did looking for humoristic ones in relation with the text 🙂 Let me know

New photos inserted in poem of St.Moritz post!

Hi everyone!

 

I finally managed to insert the photos, I was longing to put in the poem

Of St.Moritz, to show you all, the magnificence of this unique place.

I believe, words and photos are complementary. Photos give justice 

to words and vice versa.

But one cannot go without the other, at least it did, until I got the photos 🙂

Let me know what you think, does it make that big difference I’m talking

about? Do you think the place is unique or have you seen a twin town 

somewhere else?
