Just to give a sign of presence after a small pause between posts!
I have tried to like & comment as much as possible but find it hard to get on WordPress every day as I did previously.
It has been hectic lately here & feel in dire need of quietude.
Winter is usually a time where one slows down a bit, keeping more indoors, weather being the major cause but apparently this year was a bit of an exception.
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude again & always for the constant faithfulness of my followers, likes & comments throughout my rather inadequate ubeity 🙂

I am back but… there’s always a but isn’t there 🙂
Seriously, repairing a laptop means I am losing skydrive in my favorites which makes it impossible to retrieve photos so I needed the help of a connoisseur who would figure out the intricacies of our obscure (in my eyes at least!) world of technology.
I am still not completely out of the woods, my laptop is not one hundred percent up to its previous state of work but it’s faster & functioning better the rest are details which I hope will slowly get looked after with a lot of patience from my part & those always coming to my rescue!
Thanks for your patience, sticking with me through thick & thin, your commiseration & support through the likes & comments all along.
I will be posting hopefully today, a poem that I’ve been working on while all this was happening…

Do you prefer getting or giving presents? I surely prefer giving. I call it an egoistical gesture because I believe I get more out of it than the receiver

Summer is here full swing and I am going to take time with my family. I’ll be going on liking and reading your post which I always enjoy… They give me time to learn, ponder and collect a load of useful information.

I will still post but only when it won’t take me away from my family.

I truly appreciate and thank you for the trust you have shown me in these past four
months by becoming followers.

When I started to blog I never dreamed of reaching any numbers. I did not know anything
about it, therefore had no ambitions linked to it and still do not have any, I am always
surprised when I see the numbers adding up…

Now, I have reached 4,354 views, 464 comments… I do not know how it came about. I am
truly thankful and happy my work is of interest to a generous, kind, very artistically
talented and gifted crowd.

Celebrating the 200th post today!

This blog’s birth date was on the 6th of September 2012, that’s a bit more than four months,

and I realized as I posted a painting today, the round number of 200!!

It feels good to have reached that far and wanted to share it with you all.

I am taking this opportunity to thank you for liking, sometimes helping, commenting…

This poem from 1989 differs by one word only. Instead of ” example of courage ” I changed it to ” model of courage. ”
As you can see, the sketch is brand new, made among a collection of three others, on the newborn-mother Theme.
This poem is dedicated to the beauty in all mothers, especially those that surround me and teach me lessons of
courage, dedication and selflessness on a daily basis.
