Fiery sunset. Oil painting.

Fiery sunset oct. 2015-1-

Since beginning the motherhood portrait in oil painting I have ventured in the thrill of texture from another angle and have tremendous pleasure with its results.
Sea in all seasons is my passion which makes this creative moment one of delight & inspiration.

A quick Hello to all!
This photo was taken deep in the winter month of December
the plant had dried out in the dunes by the sea & had
a natural sepia color…
The photo is completely untouched, it’s what makes this plant
so special & this shot so unique, at least in my opinion 🙂
What do you think?

Shell-passion is an aftermath of the grain, wind, foam…

Shells are a passion that comes as an aftermath
Of the grain, wind, foam, the light & sounds…
The Movement.
I managed to find a concave of forgiveness & peace
To perceive art in refuse but when discovering some
Pay a heavy fine… sadness & compassion floods in
Yet is accompanied by the understanding that nature
Prevails, all it needs is a thumbs up & a bit of trust
In its recovery.

P.S I have taken these photos in about three different times so the fish was in one batch & the bird in another.
I’m mentioning what might seem a detail but is not… the situation was not so bad as to have found it all at once
and the pleasure in the other pictures far exceeded hence my belief in nature prevailing.
Nature is beautiful, with it we can live… in its true sense of the word. I must say that I got a few laughs out of passerby’s when they saw me crawling on four with waves catching me by surprise for the shell photos 🙂

Nature’s gems

A gem found in the rain ©copyright2013owpp

A gem found in the rain
©copyright2013owpp

I bequeath myself to the storms,
To the rain I love, falling gently
Or brutally unto the Oceans marking
Their way, digging tears into the
Grain of shores… bringing out the
Gems of yonder, tempting them out
Of their daily modicum of privacy
And fashioning as a jest, a grand
Exit by beaming scintillae betwixt
Feral clouds thereupon supplanting
Yestereve’s majestic sunset.

Unusually striped jelly fish!

Unusual jelly fish

We were strolling peacefully
Along the beach, wind blowing
Sun hibernating… When this
Jelly Fish caught our attention.
We swiftly “stole” the moment
Into our pocket of treasures,
Locking it safely in our prized
Collection…

Of family history.

This painting was made with acrylic paint and colored sand. It was another texture I wanted to experiment.
In the five years I’ve been painting, I have been ( and still am ) very curious about the so many techniques
available, I tried and go on trying out whatever comes to my attention.
Let me know what you think 🙂
