Adulation and worship
Your yearning became
Your weakness, zeal
Turned to hostility
Love broke to fragments
Limited, sectional, separatist
Erratic condemnation
Supercilious and arbitrary
All gone in a moment of conceit
What you thought was
A Bona fide to another
Was plain arrant disaster
To what was dear to our hearts
Yet, we wish you
With all humanity
To come back,
As compunctious as can be
With renewed awareness
Tolerant and receptive
Nonjudgmental
To its supreme
