Here are two very inspiring quotes, take a few seconds to absorb the depth of the words. The first one is wisdom in its pure form which is the characteristics of the Dalai Lama and the second makes you appreciate life doubly.
Enjoy ๐
Well it seems these quotes have gotten erased on my blog…so I’ll simply write them down myself here.
The Dalai Lama when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered “man. because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. and then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived”
โIf you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of the world. If you have money in your bank, your wallet, and some spare change, you are among 8% of the worldโs wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million people who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the agony of imprisonment or torture or the horrible pangs of starvation, you are luckier than 500 million people alive and suffering. If you can read this message, you are more fortunate than 3 billion people in the world who cannot read at all.โ
