A memorable day in Sounds of Nature – Waterfall #1 (my first Youtube video ever!)

A memorable day in Sounds of Nature – Waterfall # 1

Published on Aug 18, 2013
I’m proud to present to you my first video on Youtube. I hope you like it. POSITIVE feedback is always welcome. Enjoy!

I can’t believe it…I have finally published my first video on nature in You tube. Let’s be honest, I would’ve never managed it on my own. My very dear ones told me how it’s done ūüôā
It is not yet thee perfect version (those two side bars are there because I held my camera the wrong way!) but I’m very happy with the result. The music comes from one of my favorites… Enya, which is soothing and a good counterbalance to the strong powerful cascading stream.
Water and its sounds have always fascinated me in the sense that it has such a soothing influence on the human behavior.
I hope you like and enjoy those short 6 minutes. Let me know what you think of it.

P.s I had to change the music as it was copyright and as a result we can’t hear the sounds of the waterfall which is very disappointing but there’s not much to be done besides being careful next time!
I had the same problem with photos in the beginnings of my blog and somehow I did not connect it this time to music, hence my mistake. I’ll have to find out how to download music the right way ūüôā

Summer’s bliss

There’s nothing
Like a blue sky
And a lazy day
After a long
Year of tenure

Stars on ripples…

Water glittering ©copyright2013owpp

Ripples glistering
Under the burning
Midday sun as fallen
Stars under a full
Moon, igniting and
Vanishing in the
Same gasp…

These photos took me a long time to capture. My camera is not a sophisticated one and it took me ages to get those stars shinning ūüôā
Enjoy them!

The pink Hydrangea

Hydrangea (/ha…™ňądre…™nd í‚ĀĪ…ô/;[1] common names hydrangea or hortensia) is a genus of 70-75 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia (China, Japan, Korea, the Himalayas, and Indonesia) and the Americas. By far the greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably China, Japan, and Korea. Most are shrubs 1 to 3 meters tall, but some are small trees, and others lianas reaching up to 30 m (98 ft) by climbing up trees. They can be either deciduous or evergreen, though the widely cultivated temperate species are all deciduous.

(2 Hour Nature Relaxation Video) A Day in Big Sur, California 1080p Relaxation Video Pure Nature

A quick post I could not resist of a video I just found, on mesmerizing sea waves in a spectacular nature spot this time, in California. (The last one was in the Carribeans)
It is one of the rare places of untouched and totally wild nature we have today… a pleasure to the eye.
I love the idea of being able to visit the world from our own home and be lulled into a state of blissful stupor ūüôā

Enjoy it and take the time to indulge when things get too much for you or even when it doesn’t…. just for the fun of pampering yourself!

These photos and poem were inspired by the blogger Junsjazz Images & Inspiration who always has great advice on photography.
I had fun playing around plain tools as a fennel for a tunnel vision and a sifter for a vintage effect. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Adorned by a golden glow

Tips resembling the wig of
A scarecrow built carelessly
With the clothes become rags
From stretched days, short nights…

Call an onion and it will
Faithfully expose the aroma,
Give flair to the forlorn, for
In every living, growing,

Is poetry. To the recipient
Of all that is moving and
Changing… days ticking,
Mildew spreading, Calling

And all YOU need…

This is the final of a series…The end of a photo collection carefully chosen for a project very close to my heart, the tree project.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did bringing it to completion.

From the benches I read and pay
Homage to the reverence I feel
Toward the decorum surrounding

From the contrast in colors…
To peaceful hidden spots or thick
Shiny roots exploring the mysteries
Of earth’s nether.

All groan…Whisper in harmony
A lullaby to the ones who see.

Everywhere accompanying our very step (trees 3) 28.5.2013

Everywhere accompanying our very step (trees 3)
———————————————

They are everywhere
Grazing the foot of mountains
Bordering a lake, brushing rooftops,
Designing a niche for a lone abode,
Parading on the Champs-Elysées
Or encircling protectively the Eiffel Tower
Harboring those who hurry home from a
Somber season or guarding the slanting
Façade of a historical house.

They are just everywhere
Accompanying our very step…
Around the globe, we swirl and detect
Leaves ablaze with sun’s warm reflection
Or a trunk soaked by forests flavors
After a sudden gush…
Nourishing and being nourished
By earth’s plentiful.
