Watch “ZAZ – Demain c’est toi (vidéo studio)” on YouTube

An internationally famous French singer with a hit for most of her songs.

Her songs/lyrics are even being used in schools to teach French.

This one is particularly moving as the lyrics are words she addresses to her unborn child.

Wishing you all again a very happy gratifying healthy new year!

Demain c’est toi
Zaz
Tomorrow is you
I trace paths that are waiting for you
To you the child who comes, I precede your steps
I whisper your name in the breath of my voice
I will offer you the world, you I do not know
I open my heart wide as you open your hands
I hope you have happiness as big as mine
Tomorrow is you
Demain c’est toi
I learn the alphabets of each of your actions
I sing you my dreams of spaces and Wild West
I want for you the love, the rare and the precious
All the beauty of the world at your fingertips
Fists heated to white, I’m forging for tomorrow
Your happiness that I wish as big as mine
Tomorrow is you
Demain c’est toi
I give you the keys that open all the chests
I spray the walls of the prisons that we offer you
I run to infinity not to leave you
All I did not say is because you know it
Tout c’que je n’t’ai pas dit c’est parce que tu le sais
It’s because you know it
C’est parce que tu le sais
To you the child who comes as a little morning
I hope you have happiness as big as mine
Tomorrow is you
Demain c’est toi

Jean Jacques Goldman Un Tour Ensemble 2002 (Amazing live concert)

Jean Jacques Goldman is a brilliant artist. A singer, song writer, composer & exceptional musician. He started singing because he couldn’t find anyone to sing his songs the way he wanted. He was thrown onstage Malgré lui. (despite himself)
He is an artist that counts his blessings which is very rare & a free one with that… he’s responsible for his shows, his songs are non-commercial & his lyrics broaches all topics, he rarely speaks about love, is very poetical & dares to write what other would not.

Even though it’s a long video (taking space) I thought it worthwhile to share this artist with all of you 🙂

Courtesy of Wikipedia… Jean-Jacques Goldman (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃.ʒak ɡɔldˈman]; born 11 October 1951) is a Grammy Award-winning French singer-songwriter. He is hugely popular in the French-speaking world, and since 2003 has been the second-highest-grossing French living pop-rock singer, after Johnny Hallyday. In the 1990s, he was part of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones with a string of hits.

Andrea Bocelli “Vivere Live in Tuscany” HD720p (Modified) Lajatico, Italy 2007

For those who have followed me from the start know that I’m a big fan of Italy, its language, its culture and who could be a better ambassador for its country than Andrea Bocelli.
I just had a most memorable hour thirty two minutes which transported me to a magical Tuscany warm summer evening…
I don’t usually post long videos so as to save space but this called for an infringement to the rule 🙂

FRANCIS CABREL – L’ENCRE DE TES YEUX

Francis Cabrel is a massively popular french singer who has fallen under the French classics category.
I am a big fan of French or Italian songs with a poetical tendency in the lyrics but it takes a lot for me to want to post on this blog, there has to be that something extra, should it be in the crowd of a concert, the lyrics or the tune itself.
Here, in my opinion at least, there was a combination of words & tunes that just completed each other and made me want to listen to it a few times in a row!
I hope you’ll like it too 🙂

Lyrics

Translation
The Ink of Your Eyes

Because we’re never going to live together
Because we’re crazy, because we’re alone
Because there are so many of them
Even morality speaks for them
I would still like to tell you
For all that I was able to write
I drew it from the ink of your eyes.

I never saw that you wore chains
Out of wanting too much to look at you
I forgot my own
We dreamed of Venice and of freedom
I would still like to tell you
All that I was able to write
It was your smile that dictated it to me.

You will come walk in my dreams for a long time
You will always come from the side
Where the sun rises
And if despite that I end up forgetting you
I would still like to tell you
All that I was able to write
Will for a long time carry the scent of regret.

But because we’re never going to live together…

Lara Fabian – Je t’aime

Presque comme une mère, tu me bordais, me protégais

TRANSLATION:
Agree, there existed other ways of parting
A few debris of glass maybe could have helped us
In this bitter silence, I decided to forgive
The faults which we are done when loving so much
Agree, the small girl in me often claimed you
almost like a mother, you guarded me, u protected me
I’ve stolen this blood from you that we shouldn’t have shared
At end of words and dreams I’m gonna scream:

I love you, I love you
like a crazy, like a soldier
like a movie star
I love you, I love you
as a wolf, as a king
as a man that i’m not
you see, i love you like that

Agree, I trusted you all my smiles and secrets
Same those shameful, for which only a brother is the guard
In this stony house,
Satan watched us dance
I wanted so much the war of bodies which made the peace

I love you, I love you
like a crazy, like a soldier
like a star of cinema
I love you, I love you
as a wolf, as a king
as a man that i’m not
you see, i love you like that

the Landfill Harmonic Orchestra

The example of bringing fire from ashes, of building where there is destruction…
A beautiful message of talent & strength under all circumstances.

There are no boundaries where the mind has none…

Enjoy this other exception found on http://ivonprefontaine.com/2013/12/17/the-landfill-harmonic-orchestra/ who reblogged it from http://misbehavedwoman.wordpress.com/?s=the+landfill+harmonic+orchestra&submit=Search

A memorable day in Relaxing sea wave sounds #2

This time I managed this video on my own about 95 %! It’s the sea as it was today, windy, cloudy and sunny. I hope you like the music choice. It’s less shaky this time round but I still could use a tripod (it’s on my list).
Enjoy it and let me know if you have any suggestions for further improvement… there’s always room for that!
Thanks to all for your constant support, it’s thoroughly appreciated 🙂

This is my second video on You tube. I’ve tried to make some improvements and hope you’ll enjoy the relaxing sounds of the waves accompanied by music. Positive feedback is always welcome!
