How GMO foods alter organ function and pose a very real health threat to humans

I just read the post and saw the video of
http://suedreamwalker.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/seeds-of-truth-i-am-sowing/
on GMO foods (a subject I’m not too familiar with) and as a result found another fascinating video on you tube on GMO foods which is very clear in translating the complicated terms into plain language we all can understand.
I can practically guaranty you will be very careful next time you buy your food at the supermarket because now, you will have understood the obscure alleys of the food industry, won’t be a victim anymore and make the right choices for your loved ones.
Let me know if it was as determinant for you as it was for me 🙂

TEDxFiDiWomen – Lissa Rankin – The Shocking Truth About Your Health / Brene Brown: The power of vulnerability

I had promised to finish my tree project without interruptions but the video I just found on You tube called for an exception.
Lissa Rankin is outstanding in a wisdom one can’t buy with money. I was literally shaking my head in acknowledgement all along.
She then mentions Brene Brown and advises to see her TED talk which I had previously watched but took a whole new dimension after Lissa’s speech.
I am therefore including that video in this post too. Lift up your feet at the end of your day with a hot mug and… Enjoy it! It’s well worth your time 🙂

Lissa Rankin, MD is an OB/GYN physician, author, keynote speaker, consultant to health care visionaries, professional artist, and founder of the women’s health and wellness community OwningPink.com. Discouraged by the broken, patriarchal health care system, she left her medical practice in 2007 only to realize that you can quit your job, but you can’t quit your calling. This epiphany launched her on a journey of discovery that led her to become a leader in the field of mind/body medicine, which she blogs about at OwningPink.com and is writing about in her third book Mind Over Medicine: Scientific Proof You Can Heal Yourself (Hay House, 2013).

She teaches both patients and health care professionals how to make the body ripe for miracles by healing the mind and being healthy in all aspects of life, not just by promoting healthy behaviors like good nutrition, exercise, and adequate sleep, but by encouraging health and authenticity in relationships, work, creative expression, spirituality, sexuality, finances, and living environment. She is leading a revolution to feminize how health care is received and delivered by encouraging collaboration, fostering self-healing, reconnecting health care and spirituality, empowering patients to tap into the mind’s power to heal the body, and encouraging women not to settle for being merely well, but to strive for living vital, joyful, authentic lives full of “mojo.”

When not spreading the word, she chills out, paints, does yoga, and hikes in Marin County, CA with her husband and daughter.

The science of miracle by Gregg Braden

This video is something I appreciated much later and many years after having absorbed the learning’s of Bruce Lipton, so I hope I’m not ” frying ” your brains 🙂 and putting you off lectures!
It needs concentrating on, so take a relaxed time to give it undivided attention, once you’ve put your mind to it, you will not see the time go by, promise.
And if you don’t enjoy that style ( it’s a matter of opinion and we’re all different 🙂 ) you will find a few things he says to be a true revelation.
Enjoy!

Follow up of Bruce Lipton’s Lecture

I have the impression the other video WAS a full one but they’ve must have written by mistake 1 of 2.
This is a follow up… after understanding his idea about how the subconscious is actually the one most important place to change, he introduces the Psych-K method and his innovator as the answer to big physical and mental positive transformation. I can testify 🙂 and it’s not my profession.
I go with the idea in life that, one doesn’t lose much by trying out new methods besides taking the ” risk ” of being changed to a happy version of you!
My pessimism went to a little corner of my life and my natural optimistic self was brought out to light with my creative side too.
It didn’t happen all at once but boy, did I see the difference!
Enjoy this too!

Note: This series is a follow up to Bruce Lipton’s – The Biology of Perception talk http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9CF36E4F42048E00

Rob Williams, M.A. and Originator of PSYCH-K, discusses how beliefs determine your biological and behavioral realities and shows how to establish communication with the subconscious to “rewrite the software of the mind” and facilitate change.

PSYCH-K is a simple and direct way to change self-limiting beliefs at the subconscious level of the mind, where nearly all human behavior originates, both constructive and destructive. Its overall goal is to accelerate individual and global spiritual evolution by aligning subconscious beliefs with conscious wisdom from the worlds great spiritual and intellectual traditions.

Rob Williams has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Masters Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Colorado. He is President of The Myrddin Corporation, and Director of the PSYCH-K Centre International. Rob’s life-long exploration of human potential, combined with his background in marketing, advertising, business management — and 14 years in private practice as a psychotherapist — provides a practical, results-oriented approach to personal change.

The Biology of belief by the Biologist Bruce Lipton

Here is one Lecture I found fascinating, the other one was, ” The Biology of perception ” which is fascinating too!
Enjoy! 🙂

Water is alive! Dr. Masaru Emoto ( from blogger Goss coaching )

I just got this in my Reader from blogger Goss coaching and found it to be a very powerful video. The background music is soothing and the message… well, I’ve already said 🙂
It’s all about the power of our thoughts which is something I’ve researched on the internet for a good few years now.
Very special people as the Biologist Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden have a vast knowledge on it and have dedicated their whole life to explore and master that subject.
I’ll post their works too after this, enjoy it and let me know 🙂

WATER IS AFFECTED BY THOUGHTS

Dr. Masaru Emoto, from Japan after receiving his doctorate from the Open International University, was introduced to the concept of micro cluster water and Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology.
Continuing in this stream of research, Dr Emoto began studying the impact of altering water molecules by various factors such as vibrations and even consciousness.
Through repeated experiments Dr. Emoto demonstrated that human thoughts and emotions could alter the molecular structure and crystalline forms of water.
Why are water molecules affected by the positive or negative thoughts and intent of humans?
Does our intent actually affect molecules?

What makes this discovery so amazing is that we live on a planet covered by more water than landmass, and that the human body is composed almost 90% of water.

I do not know what that means in  blog language, but to me it means the world!

It must be about two months ( give or take ) I got introduced to the blog ” community “and never suspected the amount of knowledge I would accumulate in such a short period of time through professional writers, painters…
I am glad to have taken the first steps into wordpress, which was a huge one considering my wide gap in that department .

Thanks for all your support!

Resumé on Thoreau’s essay ” Walking ” 2010

1860s 1861 Portrait of older Henry David Thoreau, American poet - kopie - kopie

Hi everyone!

Part of my lit. studies included reading ” Walking ” from Henri David Thoreau, Which was hard to read
as it’s heavy philosophy, then write a resumé on it which I’d like to share with you.

I nevertheless was introduced that way, to quality writing and the classics which turned me into a big fan!
I found his chain of thoughts to be so rich, one could read it over and over again without tiring and
experience different emotions every time.
Every line has to be studied. One can, through this essay learn and cultivate the love for words.
It’s intellectually stimulating and challenging.
It’s no wonder it was part of the curriculum, I’m truly glad to have been given this opportunity to
discover such an outstanding writer.

I hope you’ll enjoy it, let me know!

—————————–

Henry D. Thoreau starts his essay ” Walking ” with the simple wish to be, nature’s advocate, with the
controversial idea that man is alone with it and not part of an entity.

While he’s walking he observes, reflects and ruminates profoundly on many aspect of nature and fundamental
human concerns.

Walking for Thoreau is more than that. It’s an exercise of the brain. It stimulates his intellect. It’s where
he digs out all the material needed for his profession. Walking for him, is what an airplane is for an aviator
or, an arrow for a bushman.

It has given him the possibility to produce the most exquisite piece of poetry called ” The Malborough Road. ”
Being confined to an office would’ve never given him that possibility.

Along the essay we find him, broaching a wide range of subjects.
He starts with the actual directions he prefers and why. Southwest or eastward, goes on to the botanists, panoramas
with a detailed geographical description, which he is not presently experiencing but reminiscing.
That’s how we understand his Essay to be ” a walk through his imagination “.

As he goes on, he writes about animals. it is very descriptive and poetical. He glorifies the things others take for
granted. He comes to know along the way, that nature is above all. It’s the kernel, it’s vital for our survival.
We should be blending, melting, into nature and not vice versa. The core is mother nature and we are its servants.

Nature, under his ballpoint ( or more likely, his quill pen in those days 🙂 ) takes another dimension.
One can feel and sense it being practically a religion, so intense it is. One falls in love with nature all over again and would like to immerse oneself in it and find the tranquility and beauty felt in the reading.

In, what I call, the ninth part ( we’ve been asked to break it up into major parts ) he brings up, literature. One can observe how he
” provokes ” the reader into controversial ideas once again. That is, what makes it his style, his signature.
It forces its readers admiration, for such strong and idealistic views.

There is not a thing, he doesn’t have an opinion on.
Should it be, music which he airs briefly, names which is another amazing piece of this brilliant essay, where he describes
the ” un-importance ” of it, which again is contrary to all received ideas.

Institutions, culture, studies… You name it.
He triggers people’s minds into thinking. He ” stings ” them out of their complacent torpor, with,

I quote:

” Give me a culture which imports much muck from the meadows… ” and further ” I would not have every man nor every part of a man cultivated…”

When he proceeds later on to write about knowledge and ignorance, once more we find him spurring us on, to ideas as ” useful
ignorance ” and ” conceit in knowledge ” then humors us farther with,

I quote:

” I would say to the society for the diffusion of useful knowledge, sometimes, — Go to grass. ”

Laws and obedience seems disdained when he says ” There’s is something SERVILE in the habit of seeking after a law which we may obey. ”
Then, we understand it was intended purposefully when he adds ” Live free, child of the mist — and with respect to knowledge we are
all children of the mist. ”
He then shocks us into ” The man who takes the liberty to live is superior to all laws… ”

Borders and earth are his last two topics where he finishes his essay in total splendor and grandness.
Check for yourselves and let me know!

Till next time!
