You invite the houses
From far, cradle them
In your fold, consoling
Their ephemeral shadows.

You cradle them in your fold

Those in need
—————-
Moment of subaqueous
Distress you lift your
Eyes with conviction
Of being heard.
Vigor in double amount
To care for those
In need, give them
A sanctuary
Sooth their wounds
Heal their souls
Iron the crinkled folds
Of their shredded lives
Strength for others
Not your own.
When nothing is left
Besides throes, regrets
For those you cannot
Cushion anymore.
Love aches
Debilitating situation
Is it miscalculation,
The best of the worst?
Simple becomes complicated
Pensile questions
Dull throb.
Let the waves wash
Over, cleans your
Spirit, make things
Right, coach you.
Give you dexterity
For greatness.
Merit and prerogative.
Conveyance and guidance
For the suffering
Promise to hold them
Tight and love
Forever and ever.
To subsume, aver
The love you have…
For you.
Snow English poem with its original French text Dec. 2012
Snow
——
Velvet
Immaculate
Dazzling
Hypnotizing
Serenade your praises
Archangel’s dream
Adorn the branches
Stars in abundance
Black night
Mirror lake
Glittering lights
On a somnolent town
Illuminated day
Numbed nature
Your coat shines
Magic captivated
Mirage of a sojourn
Time of a route
Treasure among duties
Images against a buffer
Sumptuous
Delicate
Ephemeral
Sparkling
The archangels
Psalmody
Your apologia
With ease
I ambition
Pray, negotiate
So that, desire
Transforms, Transposes
I wake up
And marvel
To find myself
In the past
I fall back to sleep
And step out
Of my treasures
My heart implores
____________
Neige
——
Veloutée
Immaculée
Aveuglante
Hypnotisante
Seriner tes louanges
Les archanges rêvent
Revêtir les branches
Étoile en abondance
Nuit noir
Lac miroir
Lumières scintillantes
Sur une ville somnolente
Journée illuminée
Nature engourdi
Ton habit brille
Magie captivée
Mirage d’un séjour
Le temps d’un parcours
Trésors parmi devoirs
Images contre un butoir
Somptueuse
Délicate
Ephémère
Etincelante
Les archanges
Psalmodient
Ton apologie
Avec aisance
J’ambitionne
Prie, négocie
Pour que désire
Se transpose, transforme
Je me réveille
Et m’émerveille
De me trouver
Dans le passé
Je me rendors
Et sort
De mes trésors
Mon cœur implore
Discombobulated heart 1990 ( English poem with French original text )
There are such times too… 🙂
Discombobulated heart
——————————-
Strident cry
From the depths
Powerful cry
To the God of universes
Incomprehensible desert
Too fertile imagination
Heart in disorder
Anesthesia at port
_______________
Coeur en désordre
————————
Cri strident
Du fond des ténèbres
Cri puissant
Au Dieu des univers
Désert incompréhensible
Imagination trop fertile
Cœur en désordre
Anesthésie au port
Sweet worries 1991 ( Prose in its English original text! )
This prose was written in the midst of child-rearing. The times we thought, would be frozen forever.
When we thought we’d stay in pampers and pureed foods till the end of our lifetime…
It is to be noted that it’s the one and only time I wrote a prose in English.
Sweet worries
————–
Hush little baby
Please, don’t drive me crazy
Hush little baby
Oh! Beautiful as a daisy
A gurgle
A yawn
A bottle
At dawn
A smile
To forgive
A hug
To forget
A yawn
At dawn
The bottle
Is warm
I cuddled
My bundle
And time
Was mine
Hush, little baby
Please, don’t drive me crazy!
Hush little baby
Oh! Beautiful as a daisy
I hope you enjoyed this little moment of innocence and softness.
