I was mesmerized by the softness of this clip and wanted to share it with you. I looked up the lyrics copied it and translated it to English too.
Mylène Farmer is a very popular French singer.

I quote wikipedia who says…

Silencieux
Merveilleux
Dans ce soir mouvant
J’écoute le vent

Héritière
Passagère
De mes jours maudits
Ça je le suis

Mon amour
Je te dis tout
Tu peuples ma vie
À l’infini

Abuse le sort
Frappe à ma porte
Pose une main
Sur mon front
Sur mes seins

Si d’aventure
Je quittais terre
Tu es mon sang
Mon double aimant
Mon ADN

Et sur ton pull
J’y broderais M
Pour que nos sangs
Se mêlent au vent
Mon ADN

Dénudée
Enserrée
Dans ce jeu sanglant
Je dis tout au vent

Aussi calme
Qu’un nuage
Je suis qui pardonne au temps
Aux absents

Mon amour
Je te dis tout
Tu peuples ma vie
À l’infini

Abuse du sort
Frappe à ma porte
Pose une main
Sur mon front
Sur mes seins

silent
wonderful
Moving in tonight
I listen to the wind

heiress
transient
My cursed days
That I am

my love
I tell you everything
You populate my life
To Infinity

Abuse fate
Knocking at my door
Lay a hand
On my forehead
On my breasts

If perchance
I’d left earth
You are my blood
My double magnet
My DNA

And on your sweater
I’d embroider M
So our blood
Mingle with the wind
My DNA

bare
enclosed
In this bloody game
I say all to the wind

as calm
as a cloud
I am who forgives time
the absent

my love
I tell you everything
You populate my life
To Infinity

Abuse of fate
Knocking at my door
Lay a hand
On my forehead
On my breasts

I got this comment from someone I couldn’t trace back (got a blank page) and as I fear it might be a virus I’m copying it here with my answer & hope that won’t do damage as it won’t have the link…

Thank you for posting this song, I love it too! It’s so mesmerising….

If I may, I would translate a few things differently :
“In the moving night” instead of “Moving into the night”
“Transient heiress of my cursed days, that, I am.” instead of “Heiress, transient, my cursed days”
“Abuse fate, knock at my door” instead of “Abuse fate, knocking at my door”
“You are my blood, my loving double, my DNA” instead of “You are my blood, my double magnet, my DNA”.

“Aimant” mean “loving” as well as “magnet”, I think in this song it means loving.
I don’t mean to be rude, I hope you don’t mind.

I appreciate the corrections. I had thought the translation to be professional as it was on a specific site & didn’t bother to check. I took a huge risk approving your comment as I could not connect to your site & just got a blank page so I hope you’re not a virus message…
Let me know how to check your site, just to be on the safe side

Angeles Arrien: Archetypal Forms and Forces (excerpt) — Thinking Allowed DVD w/ Jeffrey Mishlove

This video is the type you can watch a few times and each time,
listen to it differently, appreciate the depth and meaning
of her words a little more.

I found it on another blog but as I follow quite a few brilliant
bloggers, if I don’t write down straight away its origin it gets
lost in the labyrinth of my brain, which was this time, the case 🙂

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Her way of explaining how
to get about creativity and how it happens, is just beautiful.

Have a lovely weekend!

Archetypal energies beckon us to live a larger life. We are all healers, warriors, visionaries and teachers — but often these potentials remain in latent form. Through song, dance, storytelling and meditation we can activate these archetypes.

Angeles Arrien, Ph.D., a cross-cultural anthropologist, is on the faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies and the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. She is author of The Tarot Handbook, The Fourfold Way and Signs of Life.

Bill Moyers interview with Ursula K. LeGuin about “Lathe of Heaven”

There are interviews where you immediately shut off when the interviewer
starts asking his questions to the interviewee.

Others where you feel the chemistry running and are hooked till
the last word is said. This is how I felt when I saw this one with Bill
Moyers interviewing Ursula K. Leguin.

He managed to bring out her rich personality, listening to her is captivating.
She reaches out to the listener and makes them feel a kinship to her ideas about
writing a book, her characters, her peaceful way of thinking about life, growth,
wisdom…

I could go on and on… In short it’s a very interesting video to watch for
those curious about the literate world and professionals.

Enjoy and let me know what YOU think about it 🙂

Horowitz plays Chopin Ballade 1 ( The exquisite pianist )

As a butterfly nourishes itself from one flower to the other,
so does Master pianist Vladimir Horowitz with his talent.

His fingers fly with such delicacy over the notes, it slides
and glides over your soul and smooths the bumps and dents life
has shaped it with.

Not only is his Technique at the level of utmost perfection,
each note is given his undivided attention, place and
space.

His silences fill the room with beauty and are as much a part
of the piece of music he plays, as anything.

But most of all, it is his soul poured unto it that differs
him, that makes him stand out from all the vast crowd of major
talent throughout generations.

That is what makes HIM, the exquisite pianist.

Enjoy it 🙂

AWESOME X:beautiful moments

I got this video from someone who insisted I should watch till the end.
When it started I thought, well it’s like any relaxation video.
How I was mistaken! It is stunning views filmed, of our planet. It focuses
on what we do have, which is miraculous after all the abuse we inflict upon it.

The ending is quite spectacular but I’ll let you discover it for yourself 🙂

Gad Elmaleh French stand-up comedian with English under-tittle

After listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer, I thought you might want a chilled evening with
the very popular stand-up comedian in France Gad Elmaleh, who went around the globe
with each and every time, jam-packed halls.
I even managed to find it in a brand new version with under tittles for the
English speaking.
Relax and enjoy the show!
