Celebration

_20170912_100223

Hi everyone!
I couldn’t believe five whole years have gone by since I started this blog.
Forgive my absence.
Lately I have been having computer issues and couldn’t keep you updated with my work, the exhibition, my photography…
But I promise to start posting again as soon as it’s all fixed.
Only then will I feel entitled to fully celebrate this milestone 🙂
Best of luck to all my faithful followers and visitors and best wishes for a safe and warm winter!

A labour of love

The love knot-1-a

Today I took the afternoon off.
Painting set aside I dedicated it to the updating of my sidebar.
My bloggers had that professional & polished look to theirs. I used to wonder how they managed it so beautifully.
As a firm believer of “there’s a right time for everything” I took the plunge & discovered a whole range of widget facilities that were relatively easy to work out. With luck I managed to insert in a few hours, the ones that were a priority to me.
Among them, inserting the links of my followers.
At the end of it I felt as if I had climbed Mount Everest & was ready to shout at the top of my lungs, Eureka!
Check it out, I am curious to know your opinion.
Do you think it adds a lot to the quality of a blog as I did?

Don’t forget to check…

14-Year-Old Prodigy Programmer Dreams In Code- Very amusing :)

I found this video so amusing comparing this little 14 yrs old to all of us ordinary humans, I had to laugh at the immense diversity we have in this world…
It is truly enriching to embrace it with humor and appreciate the spectrum it gives us. It is indeed refreshing to meet this young boy’s mind through you tube, who is so fulfilled and happy in what he does.
That is what you call living to your full potential!
Let me know if it amused you too 🙂

Fourteen-year-old programmer and software developer Santiago Gonzalez might just be the next Steve Jobs. He already has 15 iOS apps to his name and dreams of designing for Apple. At age 12, Santiago became a full-time college student and is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering by age 16. By 17, when most teenagers are excited to just have their driver’s license, Santiago will have his masters degree.

A self-professed computer nerd, Santiago is fluent in a dozen different programming languages and thousands of people have downloaded his apps for the Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Learn how Santiago’s parents overcame a rigid school system that left their son intellectually stifled and depressed and instead followed an unconventional pathway to nurture his incredible gifts. Santiago’s story is truly inspiring and his family’s experience provides a powerful model for parents of exceptionally gifted children.

Trying to get used to Windows8 without success, sorry but can’t post till then :)

Lady of leisure;)

Lady of leisure;)

Hi everyone!

My old computer went into a “coma” far too often and crashed once too many and lost my work so, I have purchased a laptop and made the biggest mistake to take a windows8 which has made my life a misery since.

Five months ago, I painstakingly learnt the whole process of blogging rules and windows7 technology and now it’s all to be done from scratch. The simplest task of copy-paste is non-existent and complicated, I don’t even dare to try anything else when such a minimal procedure becomes impossible.

When a blogger complained about it I was not yet aware to which extent… and the truth of her words, now I am! So, I hope you’ll be patient with me as all my writings are typed and edited in this computer. I have no clue how to get it on my blog nor copy photos that are stored in it.

I might have to install windows7 back as a result. Meanwhile I’ll be taking up my new post as… Lady of leisure 🙂
Just kidding, I don’t think they’ll ever be such a time!
