Today I feel like shouting off the rooftops, blowing them away!!! I cannot believe I did it!! It took me a whole week… long & intensive days of repetitive movements… But finally the photography category is RESTORED!

It has immensely improved, I would be proud & honored if you’d take the liberty to browse through and give me your impressions.

I kept promising & procrastinating, discouraging at the sheer amount of energy needed to correct my ignorance.
But a promise is a promise!

You all remember the shock and horror I felt when I had thought I was making order in my media “cleaning” it up
only to realize that all the photos on my blog had vanished…

I am now halfway through so, I still need your patience:)
I am hardly reading any posts as all my time goes to the restoration but it’ll get done and life will resume its course after that.

I am looking forward to it 🙂

P.s
The photo was taken on new year as a first time experience on firework-photography. It took me about two hundred shots to select a few, it was a thrilling & creative experience which I’ll share with you as soon as I’m done with this!

Waste Land (2010) – Official Trailer [HD]

http://gabicoatsworth.com/ suggested I should watch Waste land after she saw my post with the landfill harmonic orchestra video which had a huge impact on me. I checked the trailer which I’m posting now & will give you the title for the whole video to see on You tube (it will take too much space here)
It is another story of hope, creativity & so much more I can hardly put into words…

Enjoy!

“Waste Land” is an award winning documentary by director Lucy Walker – An uplifting feature documentary highlighting the transformative power of art and the beauty of the human spirit. Top-selling contemporary artist Vik Muniz takes us on an emotional journey from Jardim Gramacho, the world’s largest landfill on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, to the heights of international art stardom. WWII veteran refuses to close the book on his life

What a lesson! When I think how we so quickly give up our dreams and how we take for granted what appears to be so small to our eyes as reading…
This is a truly remarkable short video found on http://davidkanigan.com/2013/12/09/get-in-there-and-learn-baby-now/
Take a second to be truly inspired 🙂

I did it!! I restored the whole painting category in one day!

Sheer bliss!

Sheer bliss!

I am treating myself to a virtual holiday splurge to celebrate a broken record of the fastest blog restorer 😉
Hence this idyllic photo…
I have to admit I have much less posts in painting than poetry & my next categories will take much longer because each post has much more than one photo but I am very grateful to have come this far.
I was so discouraged in the beginning I thought I’d never find the incentive but when http://irinadim.com/ told me she tried to see my paintings & couldn’t find them it gave me that oomph so needed to go on after my poetry category was finished.

I truly am grateful for every blogger’s feedback & support, it is the ONLY way I could muster the little energy I had to get going at first and go further after.

I hope you’ll get as much pleasure browsing through it as the satisfaction I had putting those photos back! It made me want to get back to my painting after a long absence due to intensive writing.

Enjoy it & let me know if you liked it.
