A bumblebee in our balcony! Un bourdon dans notre balcon…

A bumblebee in our balcony…
So rare a sight I thought it was reserved to the eye of the privileged, those living among completely natural environments.
To my astonishment it was there, hanging so still on the flower of my plant I was sure it was dying & had accidentally landed in our small haven of peace, all I could see was its hairy tail moving rhythmically.
I ran to fetch my camera wondering how it would all end, if I could eventually be of any help… came back to find it still hanging on, quickly took all the shots possible & to my delight saw it fly healthily away a second later!

It was so good today to imbrue
In nature feel our footstep
Sink in soft soaked soil
Covered with the tree’s
Fallen festoons and pick
The fruit of its labor…

Ascoltare e scrivere (Poem written in t(h)ree languages…English, Italian & French)

“Ascoltare e ripetere” is something I have heard very often twenty five years ago in my three years of Italian language studies. This poem was probably lying in my subconscious because the first words that popped into my minds for this poem was Ascoltare e scrivere which was not far from the classical audio tape’s repetitive phrase… as a result, it’s the first time I’m writing a poem in three languages. I hope the Italian version is correct, it took me some time to polish it 🙂
Let me know!

Fallen leaf
———

Listen & write the
Emotions that makes
The beating of your
Heart the quiver of
Your body as the
Fallen leaf from
The tree sinking
Back to earth in
Perpetual renaissance.
————–

Foglia caduta
————

Ascoltare e scrivere
Le emozioni che rende
Il battito del tuo
Cuore la faretra
Del tuo corpo come
La foglia caduta
Dall’albero naufragio
Di nuovo a terra in
Una rinascita perpetua
————-

Feuille tombée
————-

Ecouter et écrire
Les émotions qui
Produisent le
battement de ton
Coeur le frémissement
De ton corps comme
La feuille tombée
De l’arbre faisant
Naufrage vers la
Terre dans une
Renaissance perpetuelle

The sea and I – English poem 2013 ( With French original text )

Some holidays we just take the time to live and others are an occasion to inspiration. The latter is what happened to me these winter holidays. I hope you’ll enjoy the results!

The sea and I
—————-

At first glance
The sea and I
The first steps
At day or dark night

Under all nooks and crannies
Throughout the seasons
Frozen and hard sculpted waves
Your piercing icy winds

White sand, sun beating
Grainy, humid or pebbly
Stubborn and fine drizzle
Love under all skies

You are intoxicating
At first glance
Sun beating
Or all evenings

Give me the sea
All my life it’d be
I will not tire
You will see

Burning or inebriating
Still or turbulent
The sea and I
Under all skies
__________

La mer et moi
——————

Au premier regard
La mer et moi
Au premier pas
Le jour ou nuit noir

Sous tous tes plis et coutures
A travers les saisons
Vagues sculptées, gelées et dure
Ton vent glacé transperçant

Le sable fin, soleil tapant
Granuleux, humide ou caillouteux
Pluie fine et entêtante
Le grand amour sous tous les cieux

Tu es enivrante
Au premier regard
Soleil tapant
Ou tous les soirs

Donnes moi la mer
Ma vie entière
Je ne me lasserais
Au grand jamais

Brûlante ou enivrante
Calme ou turbulente
La mer et moi
Toute une histoire
