Summer sunset

This time I used extra strong gel medium differently so as to produce a high relief for wave movement.
It wasn’t easy but was very happy with the result.

Here I worked with a paint brush and a palette knife leading me to a beautiful tree bringing another addition to the Zen tree collection.
Notice in the close ups to come, small trees popping up everywhere… The base of the tree (fourth photo) represents the globe. A reminder of how important trees are for the upkeep of our beautiful planet and our privilege to go on breathing and living in it.
This is the continuation of an abstract collection called “the Zen tree collection”
