This photo is special to me.
It’s the less traveled “streets” of Venice.
The ones you can stop by and absorb the
Depth, its color, shadows and reflections…
In short all it has to offer to the knowing eye
The one who has already witnessed the Venice of
Sequins and glitter… curious of its authenticity
Thirsty for its poetic form shrouded in dreamy
quality.
Seeking solace in its troglodyte spots.
P.s
I am going to have to take time off for my family.
Exams are approaching & I need to be there & offer my support
we then go into summer holidays.
My apologies but I will be back hopefully with a whole bunch
of summer light in my photography 🙂
Ciao, Patrizia
Grazie 🙂
Like a beautiful dream – you have captured the glory of Venice.
Wow! thanks, what a beautiful compliment 🙂
A poem to complement Whistler’s etchings. Enjoy your time off.
Thank you… for introducing me to a most amazing artist unknown to me prior to your comment 🙂
I checked his works on the internet & his Venice paintings speak to my heart, it’s the quiet Venice I was talking about & I appreciate your noticing it.
I surely will enjoy my time off & “refuel” 🙂
