This video is fascinating to watch in the sense that one realizes the delicate balance of Ecology… the powerful role & contribution as a consequence of each & every animal.
It has enlightened me & hope it’ll have the same effect on you 🙂

NOTE: There are “elk” pictured in this video when the narrator is referring to “deer.” This is because the narrator is British and the British word for “elk” is “red deer” or “deer” for short. The scientific report this is based on refers to elk so we wanted to be accurate with the truth of the story.

When wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park in the United States after being absent nearly 70 years, the most remarkable “trophic cascade” occurred. What is a trophic cascade and how exactly do wolves change rivers? George Monbiot explains in this movie remix.

Awesome film!
Thanks! I appreciate that 🙂
Thank you for sharing this. It is so sublime. I love wolves and the music they make.
I am really glad you enjoyed this! Thanks for the feedback 🙂
Quite incredible. Just goes to show how all is connected and when we mess with these connections the results can be catastrophic. Marvelous post.
That was precisely my thought & the reason for this post. We are quite ignorant when it comes to the most important place we live in, our home, everything that was here was meant to be to maintain a balance to make its habitation possible & we are only scratching the surface of its significance. I am glad you enjoyed this video…thanks for the feedback.
What a beautiful video, I can’t tell you how pleased I am to have just watched it. Tonight my daughters bedtime story was a section of her new chapter book series about an animal rescue centre. This particular book is about a wolf cub found in a trap & how they will return it to his pack. The wolf has been showing up for me a lot lately….I think he is a new totem animal for this lady!!
I am so happy you enjoyed this video! I make a habit of only posting what truly speaks to my heart… what I get enthusiastic about but never know if it’s shared by my readers so it’s very gratifying to get feedback, it gives me the oomph to go on posting further in the same way.
Thank you for letting me know 🙂
Nice nature video. Many thanx for sharing and for visiting my blog. Peace.
Thanks for the feedback & liking too.
Every part of Nature is essential to the other as each co-operates with each other… When Man interferes he upsets the balance in nature in so many ways which not only have an affect upon one species and the environment but it affects the whole….
I have saved the video to my watch later list.. as I am on a mission for the next hour to catch up in my over flowing email box and posts..
Enjoy your day xox Sue
Thanks for commenting on this video which was very special to me for all the reasons you’ve mentioned above.
Enjoy it when you have time 🙂
All the best!
(Reading backwards today) I enjoyed this and wanted to say so. I’m going to go to the YT site and see the other videos too. My daughter will love these. Thanks for sharing.
I am glad to make someone happy… in this case your daughter 🙂
Thanks for taking your time to let me know you enjoyed it too!
