This very inspiring story of this unbelievably heroic person who transformed adversity into victory & blessings. After seeing this, we understands first that happiness is not the one everybody is talking about and second that there is something much bigger to life (than our small preoccupations) 5.47 sec. well worth watching!

I am glad you approve this is a story that I keep telling everyone since, I feel every person can learn a huge lesson from his experience
My Dear Son I, now 40, was a motocross rider. He still rides. Though he has had injuries. Dear Son II, now 38, seldom rides bikes, due to a drunk driver crashing into him, he was in a car at that time. But y Dear Son III, now 33 was in a terrible, horrible, awful, monstrous motorcycle accident 5 years ago. Some of his crushed bones were replaced with titanium. He sustained further complications in hospital. He was in the trauma center for almost two months before he could be moved to a rehab hospital. When he was finally released from there, over three more months later he still could not walk, but he had pushed himself hard to be able to tend to his personal hygiene. … He had set that as his goal in the rehab hospital.— Within a few months he was walking and another few was working. In two years my granddaughter was born. Then he tutored himself to gain his electrician license. Yesterday, as a birthday gift to me he put new brake pads on my car. And we sang Happy Birthday to me and his daughter, whose 3rd birthday was yesterday. My granddaughter was born on my birthday!! His older son was only one and a half (exactly) when the accident happened still thinks his Daddy is invulnerable. The grandson turns seven in three weeks. My son is proud that even though he is in constant pain he is able to care for his family. And even help me. And have fun, too. He is an outstanding musician/poet, as well. 🙂 I read this apro=pro post today, the 16th. Yesterday was my and my granddaughter’s birthday. 🙂 ps Dear Son IV hasn’t been in any motorcycle wrecks. Knock on wood.
What a tragic story! You are a very courageous woman to see the bright side after experiencing all this. I appreciate your contribution in telling us your son’s way to recovery and wish him a total recovery. All my wishes too for all your family with the best of luck from now on!
Grandchildren do have the gift of bringing light to the darkest alleys but your experience with the birthday linked in such a way makes it all the more of a gift sent from heaven…
Thanks for the time it took to send feedback to this post, it’s very much appreciated 🙂
