happy intervals

My heart is yours

I know…
Not all sisters
Talk in whispers
Never lose
Their temper
Hence, my desire
To reveal
My esteem,
Your attributes,
Make my words

Your glowing
Kindness in
All shapes,
No shape.
Off your heart
Spurring ours…
Short but happy
Intervals, tucked
& nestled
Ad infinitum.

Warmth garnered
For our gelid
Winters till
Summer reaches
To expose hope
Rise & growth
For ritual.
Under your
Roof is revelry
Your triumph
Over adversity
A proof…

Of youth
With pansophy.
I enshrine my
Akin, my Fjord.
Have dropped
My anchor in
The realms
Of my
My heart
Is yours

  1. Treasure her while you have her. I lost my sister 9 years ago this week and only wish we’d been closer. Beautifully expressed.

  2. Cherishing our Sisters is something I do.. I have a wonderful sister whom I nearly lost many years ago.. it brings home to you how fragile and how we should cherish those moments of togetherness. Lovely poem which I could take to have two meanings as I viewed your photos. 🙂

    • Yes, we do cherish even more those with whom we have gone through life and its ordeals with…
There are no two meanings really, we just happen to live far apart but my heart has dropped anchor in hers.
The happy intervals are those precious moments we are lucky to spend together 🙂
Thanks for sharing. I’m glad your sister is well today, it must not have been easy for all of you.
      Best of luck!

  3. Your blog is wonderful. Love the photos, poetry and art! And thanks for visiting my blog!
