Rare green surprise

What I love most
About tulip bulbs,
Is the surprise
In stock…

Some come out
Flashy round,
Ordinary and

Others take you
Completely by
Pointy, green

And ornamented
With pink, frilly
Edges, giving it
A rare crispy

Ethereal quality!

  1. Congratulations on growing your very own tulips! 😀 It’s fun to see them grow, isn’t it? I usually buy a bag of “surprise bulbs”, so I don’t know in advance which kind and colors I’ll get.

    • I’ve been doing this for years but it’s my first at surprise packages which I had no idea I had bought!
It surely is loads of fun to see the first leaves of spring popping out after a cold and long winter.
I appreciate this warm feedback, it gives blogging a special touch 🙂

Tulips are my favorite but I’ve been moving towards smaller delicate flowers and the woody look but this is perfect, two-tone green. Next year I’ll try growing them eek.

  3. Gorgeous! I’m in love with these beautiful colors and precious image.

  4. I can see why they were once so valuable and the bulbs were used as currency!

  5. ti avevo perso!
    ..felicissima di averti ritrovato.
    …belle emozioni !
    grazie infinite.
