The uncertain
—————-

Yes and no

The answer of the uncertain
The one that puts himself
In both camps and
Finds his conviction

Fearful, coward, realist
Weighing the pro and cons
The big question
Interrogation point

Is a person not in the right
Of deciding, weighing, measuring
The consequences of his decisions
Should we judge the uncertain?

Far from perfect
Foibles inhabits us
In a constant way
In an existential practice

Yes and no

Will stay without answer

L’incertain
————-

Oui et non

La réponse de l’incertain
Celui qui se met dans les
Deux camps et y trouve
Sa conviction

Peureux, lâche, réaliste
Pesant le pour et le contre
La grande question
Point d’interrogation

La personne n’étant pas en droit
De décider, peser, mesurer
Les conséquences de ses décisions
Devons nous juger l’incertain?

Loin d’être parfait
La déficience nous habite
De manière constante
De façon existentielle

Oui et non

Restera sans réponse

  2. I’ve read this several times. I feel the caption could have easily read “rewards of the uncertain” … I feel we ingrain fear and then live within it’s limited boundaries, Love the ending …. it’s the eternal voice of the universe reminding me, every answered question yields a new “yes or no” question. BTW: This took a lot of courage for me to write, but you inspire me to step in … now. Thank you for your lovely blog.

    • Thanks for your heartwarming comments, it means a lot! I felt the uncertain, is such a complicated matter that we can’t judge it to be right or wrong and we should give the space and liberty for them to develop at their own pace. I myself am more self assertive but I did encounter times of uncertainty which I wouldn’t have liked another to judge and the result was this analytic prose

  3. ‘Should we judge the uncertain’? Great question. That maybe we do, perhaps, is a sign of the times we live in. Pressure to be fast and decisive. But uncertainty is also much more considered… Let’s not judge 😉

    • I know… uncertainty or hesitancy is frowned upon but even the self assertive have their moments too… and as a self-assertive person myself, I’d rather not be judged when it happens to me too, that’s how the prose came about 🙂
Thanks for commenting and reading, I appreciate it!
