When your eyes fog up

Your wish,
To expel
All thoughts.
You address yourself
In a whirlwind of anger
And frustration
Search again and always
The appeal of absolute
Contentment,
Never to find it.
You ferret about
In the nooks and crannies
Hoping to discover
A mislaid sample…
Leaving no suspicion.
Exploiting all possibilities
Where we do not see it,
Where we do, precisely.
When your eyes fog up,
With consuming and invasive
Images,
It is difficult not to think,
Succumb,
To conflicting feelings…
What’s with the futility
Of this life.
The derision and reason
For existence.
You seek the strength
Of oblivion. The continuation
Of these gestures seemingly
Useless or devoid of interest
But forming a moment,
A life… indispensable
To your survival…
You thank the universe,
You trust and continue
Your way laboriously,
For you, your family and
This world so radiant, majestic
And noble that surrounds you.
Everything that breathes
Around you.
In you.

Quand tes yeux s’embuent

Ton souhait
Faire le vide.
Tu t’adresses
Dans un tourbillon
De colère
et frustration.
Tu cherches encore et toujours
L’attrait d’un contentement
absolu.
Ne le trouvant jamais.
Tu fouines
Dans les recoins
Espérant découvrir
Un échantillon égarer…
Ne laissant aucun soupçon,
Exploitant toutes les possibilités.
Là où on ne le voit pas,
Là où on le voit justement.
Quand tes yeux s’embuent
D’images accaparantes
Et envahissantes
Il est difficile de ne pas penser,
Succomber
Aux sentiments contradictoires…
A quoi rîme la futilité
De cette vie.
La dérision et le pourquoi
De l’existence.
Tu cherches la force
De l’oubli. La continuation
De ces gestes paraissant
Inutile ou dénué d’intérêt
Mais formant un moment,
Une vie… Indispensable
A ta survie…
Tu remercies l’univers,
Tu as confiance et continues
Laborieusement ton chemin,
Pour toi, ta famille et
Ce monde si rayonnant, majestueux
Et noble qui t’entoure.
Tout ce qui respire
Autour de toi.
En toi.
