To the mothers of the world 1989 ( English Poem with its French original text too )

This poem from 1989 differs by one word only. Instead of ” example of courage ” I changed it to ” model of courage. ”
As you can see, the sketch is brand new, made among a collection of three others, on the newborn-mother Theme.
This poem is dedicated to the beauty in all mothers, especially those that surround me and teach me lessons of
courage, dedication and selflessness on a daily basis.

Thank you!

________

To the mothers of the world
—————————-

Mother divine
Mother sublime
Mother of kindness
Mother of generosity

Model of courage
Love and sharing
You are the heart
Of a beautiful flower

We are the petals
Very small petals
Attached forever
To our revered queen

Mother of kindness
For having given so much
Mother of generosity
Without ever counting

Mother divine
Simply divine
Mother sublime
You are the tip of the peaks

Thank you,

For every instant
For every moment
Of happiness experienced
In our childhood of gaiety

_______________

Aux mères du monde
—————–

Mère divine
Mère sublime
Mère bonté
Mère générosité

Modèle de courage
Amour et partage
Tu es le coeur
D’une très belle fleur

Nous sommes les pétales
De tous petits pétales
Attacher à tout jamais
A notre reine vénérée

Mère bonté
Pour avoir tant donné
Mère générosité
Sans jamais compter

Mère divine
Tout simplement divine
Mère sublime
Tu es le bout des cimes

Merci,

Pour chaque instant
Pour chaque moment
De bonheur éprouver
Dans notre enfance de gaité

Sleep is… 1991 ( Translated in English with French original text )

This small piece is in the same style and written around the same time,
as the one I posted yesterday.
I hope you’ll like it 🙂

Sleep is…
———–

Sleep. A total submission to nature.

We cross the threshold of the unconscious
In complete freedom of choice. By need. By lack.

This lack, this ” weakness ” transforms you, puts you
in danger, sometimes, makes you see life other than it is.

Sleep is a submission to the unconscious where we cross the
threshold of nature.

Le sommeil
———–

Writing is… 1991 ( Translated in English with its French original text )

Writing-letter-vintage

This little piece was written by me in 1991 and didn’t feel
the need to touch any of it to post it today to you.
I hope you like it too 🙂

Writing is…
————-

The individuals imprint of the human being
A past stolen through the eyes of another
The exhilaration of a moment, sealed
The signature of thought
A whiff of life captured
Pain released

______________

L’écriture c’est…
—————–

L’empreinte individuelle de l’être humain
Un passé volé par le regard d’autrui
L’ivresse d’un instant, scellé
La signature de la pensée
Une bouffée de vie emprisonnée
Une douleur en liberté

Blog of the Year Award 1 star jpeg

I am truly grateful for having been offered another award.
It always takes me by surprise and I am usually shocked.

All my thanks go to Sandy Anotherlovelyday.wordpress.com

when I found her blog and her photography brings always
serenity to your soul when watching it.

I am very upset of having lost this whole post after that
but will try in the best of my ability to remember a maximum
of what I have written before 🙂

The bloggers I have nominated for the ” Blog of the year award

I have most probably missed a whole load of brilliant bloggers I follow ( my apologies 🙂 )
but this is for the moment the ones that came to mind.
I am still not familiar with the ” star system ” on this blog Award, but I am sure it’ll come
in due time.

My thanks again for this award, I am deeply appreciative!

Summer pond was painted around the summer of 2011.
It is not relevant to our season but I nevertheless
wanted to share with you its delicate Theme so as to
refresh ourselves from all the layers of clothing,
the long winter hours of obscurity without taking
away the quality time with our family, the coziness,
the beauty of nature lying in wait…

Enjoy it all and let me know 🙂

This is a shell collection of many years. When we walk on the beaches,
any beach, I like to keep busy, head bent, in search of the unusual
shape, size or color.

Not so long ago, I spoke to my art teacher ( yes, I still need her
advice from time to time 🙂 ) and she suggested this assemblage stuck
on canvasses of different shapes and color.

Today, I thought it was a good idea to share it with you all!
