This painting was done with the same colored sand material as the ” Satellite ” one, I loved what came out of it and I hope you will too!
Monthly Archives: November 2012
This painting, as you see it to its tittle, was inspired by the House of Monet in Giverny France.
I hope you like it 🙂
Some paintings, just makes you want to follow the lines and go with the rules, others, like this one, made me want to do
something totally different and unusual.
What do you think of it?
This painting was made with acrylic paint and colored sand. It was another texture I wanted to experiment.
In the five years I’ve been painting, I have been ( and still am ) very curious about the so many techniques
available, I tried and go on trying out whatever comes to my attention.
Let me know what you think 🙂
For those who are starting winter, this is a smile, a reminder that there’s always laughter in one’s heart and mind 🙂
These are the first steps of a new painting project I called Odyssey, which is a picture I found, and wanted to
reproduce, with slight changes and an extra twist added to it, which I’ll clarify at the end of the work.
I’m posting it for the same reasons I did the ” guardians of the city ” only this time, I don’t want to drag the
work on, for a year. I’m doing it now, to push myself faster 🙂
I hope you will like it, have a lovely weekend!
We have passed Autumn but it’s not that far away, so I thought you might enjoy the colors!
I have enjoyed, as always seeing this painting unfold…
Let me know what you think of it 🙂
Sorry about the quality of this photo, it’s a bit hazy but it’s sometimes difficult to get it right.
As usual, I let my brush guide me and unravel the story that was intended. It’s a way of relaxing as
as well as another.
I am always amazed of the possibilities, if I only remember, every time I pick up the brush,
to let go before I start and not want to control the space and time I’m in.
If I do so, something wonderful always happens as a result.
I hope you like it 🙂
This is how I look tonight! I wanted to finish the blog update in order to start the real thing, as painting, writing…
I put everything on hold and, believe it or not, it happened.
I never realized how many poems I had posted…
As I started to work, this morning, I thought it would be as simple as when I edited the writing category. Boy,
was I in for a surprise!
It’s a totally different system, with its own set of rules. The layout for poetry is so different that, I had
to get used to the dimensions, spaces… I thought I was going to lose it, but then, I started slowly to get the
hang of it and it didn’t appear to be torture anymore 🙂
In my young blogging days, I first wrote the poem in french then posted
its translation in a following one, but then I found it, confusing to the reader ( thinking it hadn’t been translated ) so I started
to put it, in the same post. Please forgive my previous lack of experience.
Let me know how this new category compares to the old version.
Wow! I can celebrate my 2019 viewers to be precise.
When I got the blog in September, I never imagined getting to such a number, I am glad the way things are turning out.
The blog is slowly taking shape, it’s much more pleasant now to read and today I’ll be going on improving the poetry sector but I’d be very surprised if I’d be able to keep up, yesterday’s pace, that was a marathon 🙂
I’ll nevertheless try my best, have a lovely day!
